Thinking about my studies

Since I started drawing without reference of my favorite artists, everything has been difficult for me; _; ... That's not bad, but since I started doing an art classes, my teacher always said the best references that should get, are the photos, as an artist to reach such a design, he had a prior study, a basic, a photographic reference.
